This year we have established giving tiers to make donating to YES more clear. While $900 per student (Friend Circle) is the annual suggested donation, we hope that every Ross Valley family contributes what they can to the YES Foundation.

Did you know?

Only 12% of public schools in California receive arts education from credentialed teachers. RVSD is one of the few school districts that prioritizes high quality arts education for every student supported by family giving.

California ranks 41st in education spending. There is a funding gap which is made up with fundraising. Programs including art, music and libraries that used to be included in standard public school curriculum are no longer funded by the state.

Children need the arts. YES provides children with an enriched, developmentally appropriate and challenging art curriculum that inspires creativity and self-expression, builds self-confidence, develops problem solving and divergent thinking, and promotes students to become lifelong learners.
