February 23rd - March 20th
This is our largest fundraiser of the year and our big push toward the $1 million annual goal. We aim to raise $250,000 by inviting everyone to participate in a way that works for them. This is our moment to come together and support the art programs our students rely on.

When families create together, we fund creativity together.
As part of the Spring Participation Campaign, we are calling on students, our parent community, and friends to host your own fundraisers or events, collecting donations from your closest connections in fun, meaningful ways to support art, music, and theater for every child in our district. Families can host their own creative fundraisers, big or small. Every lemonade stand, bake sale, backyard happy hour, or jam session helps fund creativity across all five schools.
The school with the most fundraisers will win a special trophy to showcase at their school for 1-year!
Yes Champion Trophy
Designed and created by a talented RVSD parent artist, this one-of-a-kind YES Champion Trophy will make its debut this year!
This is a participation trophy — awarded to the school that creates the most fundraisers during the Spring Participation Campaign (whether events or personal campaign pages).
The winning school will earn the honor of proudly showcasing the YES Champion’s Trophy on campus for an entire year!
Types of Events
Community-Led fundraisers are fundraisers led by you, created by you! You think it up, we support it. These events could be small to larger “Parties with Purpose” events, a personal campaign shared among your friends and family, or a simple sidewalk sale. They could be kid-led, adult-only events, hosted by a group of friends, a single family, or an entire class! It’s really up to you. This is all just about participating and being a part of helping to get to our goal.
-
“Parties with Purpose” are family- or adult-hosted events where you gather your community and raise funds for YES.
Examples include:
Backyard happy hour
Dinner party fundraiser
Wine tasting
Book club fundraiser
Pickleball or tennis round-robin
Group fitness or cooking class
Trivia night
Parent band / jam session
-
Kid-led fundraisers empower students to raise money in creative ways. Examples include:
Art sales (drawings, paintings, bracelets)
Bake sales (swim team, baseball, etc.)
Lemonade stands
Jam-a-thon or music-a-thon
Recorder-a-thon
Talent show
Car wash
Craft night fundraiser
Yard clean-up help
Dog walking
Trading card sale or swap
-
A personal campaign is similar to a GoFundMe page or your school’s Lap-a-thon or Move-a-thon. It gives you a simple way to reach out to friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues to support the YES Foundation and help fund art, music, and theater in our schools.
You’ll share your message about why these programs matter to you and your family. Personal stories inspire giving.
It’s easy: just share your personal campaign link by text, email, or social media and invite your community to support YES.
FAQs
How do I start my own fundraiser?
1
It’s easy!
Create your personal fundraising page.
Add your story; tell people why art, music, or theater matters to you or your child.
Share your link with friends, family, neighbors, and your broader community. Write your own story or use one of our templates.
Host your event (if applicable) and celebrate your impact!
Do I need to host an event?
2
No! You can simply share your personal campaign link digitally and ask your network to support YES
You choose what feels right for your family.
Is this a competition?
3
This is a friendly competition, and it’s all about participation. The school that creates the most fundraisers wins the YES Champions Trophy, displayed on campus until next year’s Spring Participation Campaign.
It’s not about which school raises the most money — it’s about how many people get involved. We aim to reach our goal, but the campaign celebrates creativity over competition and participation over pressure.
Every dollar raised supports art, music, and theater district-wide.
Can I create more than one fundraising page on Paybee?
4
Yes — you can host multiple events and create a fundraising page for each one.
We recommend having one main personal campaign page to share broadly and collect general donations. Your individual event pages and your personal page will all count toward the campaign.
To keep things simple, please don’t create more than one personal campaign page.
What tools will YES provide?
5
We have provided a Host-Your-Own Event Toolkit that includes:
Email templates
Text message templates
Social media templates
Sample fundraising ideas
Can I collect cash or Venmo donations?
6
Yes. You can:
Collect cash or use your own Venmo
Direct donors to your Paybee page
If you collect funds offline, please coordinate with your school site lead to drop off or transfer funds so they can be counted toward the campaign. You can email them at siteleads@yestokids.org.
How much should we aim to raise?
7
There is no minimum and no maximum. It’s about community participation and collective impact.
A $50 lemonade stand matters.
A $5,000 dinner party matters.
A $200 art sale matters.
How do I tell my story?
8
The most successful fundraisers include a personal note. Share:
Why art, music, or theater matters to your child
A moment that meant something to your family
Why is creativity important in education
What if I need help?
9
Reach out to your site lead or the YES team. We’re here to support you every step of the way.
You can email your School Site Lead siteleads@yestokids.org or askyes@yestokids.org
